Pioneering, Crossover, Scoutmaster Cooking Challenge Campout
March 9-11, 2012
The Pioneering merit badge was one of the original 57 merit badges issued by BSA in 1911. Using knots, lashing, spars and hard work, our scouts created an inverted pyramid tower. Earlier in the day, four teams created A-frames and raced around a 150 yard course.
We are happy to welcome our new crossover scouts into our troop following a ceremony at Council Rock at Scoutland on Saturday night.
In the first scoutmaster dutch oven cooking challenge, the scoutmaster was soundly defeated by two patrols of highly motivated and outstanding cooks.
